Xela Skyline
I photo-shopped together this panorama of Xela from pictures I took from the roof terrace of ICA, my spanish school. This is about half of the city. The other half is not visible from the school. It's not exactly perfect, the pictures seem to have some discrepancies in brightness, but it should give you some sense of the city.
On the far right edge is the Gallo factory (the official Guatemalan Beer.) The conical mountain, center right, is Santa Maria, one of the largest mountains in Guatemala. The morning fog at left is obscuring much of the town center. And if you want to find my house: look at the main road in the center of the picture, and find the pink building on the left side of the road towards the bottom, then look two buildings to the left. I put a little red asterisk on the roof to help you out.
